    Oh man, farmer’s mkts can be dangerous for me if I have a loaded wallet….. Regardless, if I do go nutty w/ the issue of over purchasing I am making a soup by the end of the wknd.

    eggplant? eww. like I said, there are 2 types of peeps in the world; the eggplants and the nots. I am a not. absolutely no way it can be cooked and I not realize. To me, any trickery only comes off like putting lipstick on a pig. It’s still a piggy.

    anyhoo, I love your blog! very cool.

    I know lots of those “no eggplant” people; some of whom I actually recently converted with a simple marinade and my trusty grill pan! I think this happened because I used lots of different kinds of eggplant, not just the ones you can find in stores.

    But, regardless, veggies are so varied and amazing that you could survive just fine with out eggplant ever crossing your lips, and still have a blast!
