Wednesday, 3.09.11; Santa Monica Market

Aah, it’s been a while, but yesterday, I immersed myself in my favorite Farmer’s Market and came home with a tantalizing sampling of Spring!! Here it is:

My Haul

New Zealand Spinach: $2

Green Garlic: $1.50

California Macadamia Nuts: $4

Wild Alaskan Salmon Filet: $6

Fuerte Avocados: $3

Stinging Nettles and Broccolini: $3

Total: $19.50!!

What fabulousness will come from these items? Will the Macadamias encrust the Salmon? Will the Nettles become something other than soup? Will The Boyfriend complain about the Green Garlic?

The answers to these and other questions will be waiting for you here in the upcoming week!!

Stay tuned for deliciousness!!

Where prey tell, do you park????

    • OrganiCat says:

My prefered place to park is the public parking garage on 4th, between Arizona and Santa Monica. Oft times, the sign will say it’s full, but there could easily be a handful of spots opening up at that very moment. I’ve only had to give up and try another structure twice in all the years I’ve been going!
